Mcdonalds

This film documents my past and current experiences with McDonalds. On a deeper level, my current and past relationship with food became the focus of my thoughts. I was reminded by my memories at McDonalds and dove further into the emotional aspect of these memories. Memories can either be negative or positive, which led me to think about who else has memories that are defied by a specific place. For me, I have memories from childhood that take place at McDonalds along with more recent memories, those of which, are more dark. In the more recent years, the affordability of McDonald’s drove my eating disorder to extremes. I invite the viewer to draw on their own memories in this sense of place I document.
